How to talk for hours with family, friends and clients wherever you are - for almost nothing.

Imagine if you could take your home or business phone with you anywhere in the world and did not have to worry about how expensive your bill was going to be? Forget all the hassles - long distance charges, roaming charges, waiting days or weeks for phone service. You could answer the phone and talk for hours without that little voice in your head reminding you how much money your phone call is costing you. Well, the good news is now you can. You can relocate monthly, weekly, or even daily, without trying to figure out how you are going to keep in touch with the people you care about, or the people that you do business with.

For some people this might not mean much. But if you're a vagabond like me this is worth its weight in gold! Not only does this mean you can stay in touch, but you can maintain a virtual presence and keep your personal and business affairs humming along smoothy, without anyone even having to know where you are. Whether you choose to lie on a beach or work at a sidewalk cafe you have the freedom and peace of mind to go anywhere and "talk" anywhere.

As you might have guessed already, I am talking about how you can use internet phones to live your vagabond lifestyle. Now some of you might not have any idea what I'm talking about, and for others you may have heard the term 'internet phones', but are not quite sure how they work or how much they can actually do for you. In the simplest terms an internet phone is when you use an internet connection to make phone calls instead of a regular landline. This means that wherever you have internet you can make calls - which is a huge advantage - especially if you are far away from home. And of course if you are already paying for an internet connection - like in a hotel or a vacation home why bother paying more for a phone - when you can make cheap or even free calls with an internet phone?

But the most exciting thing and what a lot of people don't realize is that you can 'plug' an actual phone into your internet connection and have it ring at any time - just like a regular phone! This means that you don't have to have your computer running to receive calls or have to go through the hassle of turning it on everytime you want to make a call.

Another thing that a lot of people don't know is that if you want you can also take your home number with you! Yes that's right, this means that if you're moving to a new place or are travelling for an extended period and you don't want to give up your home phone - you don't have to. You can go anywhere and still have your home number ring at anytime! And for those of you vagabonds who have a business number, this also applies to you. This means that whether you have a meeting in L.A. or are vacationing in Mexico you can still answer your business number - without worrying about the cost, or people wondering where you are.

There really is so much exciting stuff that you can do with internet phones - not only with internet phones themselves, but what you can do with the freedom that internet phones give you! The downside however, is that there is way too much information out there, and who has time to sort through it all? And what's even more terrible is that a lot of the information is badly written, biased, or just plain boring!
